Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I have to be in perfect shape, have ripped muscles, and exercise every day to join martial arts?

A. Of course not! No-one begins martial arts like this. Martial arts will help you develop physical strength and agility - a major benefit and motivating factor for incorporating it into your lifestyle.

Q. I want my whole family to join your Dojo, do you have flexible fees?

A. Our pricing is very fair. We are more than happy to work with any family on determining a family pricing amount. We are more than comparable with other local schools, and can guarantee that you will be more than satisfied that you are getting your money's worth!

Q. I have seen martial arts movies where they break through bricks and wood, and beat up on each other. Does that really happen?

A. As mystical and action packed as these movies look, martial arts is about self-discipline, control, and exercise. We do not break bricks or wood in our system, but we constantly work out and spar with each other. We have never experienced any injuries, and don't send anyone home with bruises. Martial arts should be fun, exciting, and educational.

Q. I have an injury. Can I still join in on any of the classes?

A. Yes, of course. We have many students who come to us after an accident or injury, and we help them find relief through the excercise of these damaged muscles. We have a specific focus on internal healing, and use the ancient martial arts to help with this aspect.

Q. I have a question that isn't listed here. Where can I find help?

A. You can contact us at any time by either calling (561) 312-5844, or e-mailing us at contactus@lakeparkmartialarts.com.
